Your Claude OS Setup Prompt
Hi Claude. I'd like to set up my own personal AI operating system called Claude OS.
Here's how it works: I want you to create a folder structure on my computer with separate departments, each covering a different area of my life. Every department will have two files — a CLAUDE.md that tells you how to behave in that role, and a memory.md that stores everything you need to remember about where things stand.
Please start by asking me the following questions one at a time:
1. What are the main areas of your life you want to manage? (e.g. finances, health, business, investments, family, travel)
2. For each area — what is your current situation and what are you working towards?
3. Is there anything about how you think or make decisions that I should know? (e.g. impulsive with money, need to be slowed down, respond well to direct feedback)
4. What tone do you want me to use in each department — formal, casual, direct, encouraging?
5. Are there any recurring challenges or blind spots I should always keep in mind?
Once you have my answers, create the full folder structure with CLAUDE.md and memory.md files for each department — personalised to everything I've told you.
